June 2026 Veterans Memorial Garden Update!
Take a look at the beautiful transformation of our Veterans Memorial Garden!
Each spring, Garden Club members and wonderful community volunteers roll up their sleeves and work together to refresh this special space. The Wachusett Garden Club donated plants, materials, and plenty of elbow grease. They created a colorful garden that serves as a lasting "thank you" to the men and women who have served our country.
More than just flowers and foliage, this annual project is a true community tradition—bringing neighbors together while creating a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.

June 2026 Lisa's Pollinator Garden Update!
Growing Knowledge, One Trail at a Time!
In January of 2020, with a small $300 grant in hand, the Wachusett Garden Club and Thomas Prince School created a wonderful community project!
They created a fun educational program for kindergartners, complete with colorful resource books, posters, and hands-on lessons about native plants and the importance of keeping invasive species in check.
Fast forward to June 2025, when the project reached an exciting milestone with the installation of 10 educational signs along the Thomas Prince School Nature Trails. Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, these signs now welcome visitors of all ages to discover, appreciate, and help protect our local ecosystems.
The photos below showcase the gardens and educational trail as they looked during our June 2026 update—one year later. It's exciting to see how both the plants and the project have continued to grow and thrive!
Please visit the TPS garden (in the back of the school, accessible from either side) after school hours and enjoy both gardens as they are designed to have blooms throughout the growing season.
