2025 Rattle Root Farm Tour

Club members recently had the pleasure of visiting Rattle Root Farm, a small-scale, no-till organic operation located in Princeton, MA. The team at the farm graciously hosted our group, walking us through their innovative and environmentally conscious farming methods.

We learned how they cultivate nutrient-dense, “beyond-organic” produce—ranging from vegetables and herbs to vibrant flowers—which they distribute through their CSA program, wholesale accounts, and local farmers' markets. Their focus on soil health and ecological balance was as impressive as it was inspiring.

The farm is run by Joey, Hannah, and Peter, who met through shared work in agriculture.
The visit was both educational and enjoyable, leaving members with a renewed admiration for sustainable farming and the people who make it happen.
